There is one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty: the folks at Luckygunner.com know how to throw a heck of a party, and treat their guests very, very well. We got to shoot firearms of great historical interest beside state-of-the art small arms, got to meet a bunch of bloggers I’d read for years (and new-to-me-ones), ate great, and crammed in an awards dinner and top-notch handgun training class that really opened my eyes.
In short, I have tons to write about in the next couple of weeks just to cover what I learned in the past few days.
Unfortunately, I managed to get sick on the last day, and when we broke for lunch I made the call to drive the 6 1/2 hours east to get back home before I got too ill to drive. Monday and Tuesday were miserable, and I’m just getting back to work today. I’ll start telling you about what I saw at the shoot tonight.
I promise… it’s worth the wait.
