Lucky Gunner accepting affiliates

If you’re a gun blogger that doesn’t want to earn money with your blog (and there are quite a few of you who would rather be dead than go commercial), feel free to skip this post.

One of the things we had the opportunity to discuss the last morning of the Lucky Gunner Blogger Shoot was the official unveiling of their blogger affiliate program.

Basically, you put ads or text links on your site to LuckyGunner.com, and if someone buys ammo from them by going through your link in the next 90 days, you get a 3% commission.  In addition, if you entice other bloggers to sign up for the affiliate program–say, by clicking this link— then Lucky Gunner gives them a full 3% commission on items that are purchased through their site, and you get an additional 1% commision (not taken from your sub-affiliate).

Obviously, I’ve signed up for the program, due in no small part to the fact that I genuinely like the folks there.  The fact that I can earn some coin to pay for my own shooting misadventures doesn’t hurt, either.

I have Lucky Gunner, haven’t made a dime with them yet. I think Google Adsense is a better alternative than affiliates. In the past I tried GunClicks but I think they’re out of business.
