ABC news repeats false cartel gun claim

Ammoland is all over it. Unsurprisingly, “The Blotter” investigative team is responsible for repeating this story, one that the BATF debunked in Congressional testimony over a year ago.

B.S? We Haz itThe Blotter article claims that 3/4 of guns recovered from cartels comes from US border states, when the fact of the matter is that less than 20% of firearms recovered from cartel gunmen come from any U.S. source, and only 8% come through licensed dealers, with most of those thought to come from illegal strawmen sales.

The Blotter has a horrific record of publishing false, inaccurate, and misleading stories about firearms, making any rational person question whether the news team is capable of unbiased journalism of any kind.
